ADDults with ADHD is a voluntary organisation that is a registered Charity. It was established to address the needs of adults with ADHD and other related conditions, and their families. The organisation has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status
with the Australian Tax Office.

 

 

ADDult is a non-funded voluntary organisation established in 1995 to address the needs of adults with ADHD and other related conditions,
and their families.
ADDULTS is a registered CHARITY organisation
and has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.

The organisation has the support of professionals with backgrounds in medicine, psychiatry, psychology and education, as well as
knowledgeable and experienced parents
and adults with ADHD
.

 

The management committee includes representation of adults with ADHD, parents of young adults, and professionals working in this field.

ADDult provides:

  • Support and information to addults and their families
  • Information Pack containing: up to date information to adults, families, professionals and other interested people in the community (a range of leaflets and handout information sheets)
  • A quarterly newsletter for members
  • Quarterly seminar afternoons, with professional speakers who cover a range of issues concerning addults - open to members and the public
  • A reference list of books and publications on ADDult ADHD
  • Advocacy/input in various areas, including government agencies and the media
